The Movers are a group of choreographers and dancers working as a team to cater for your dance and movement requirements. We are professionals within the international dance field with a strong focus on Europe, standing out for our experience and interest in dance for film. We are versatile and flexible, able to adapt to what your project requires. We are the new kids on the block while bringing our years of experience within the fields of dance and film into the mix.
MOVERS
Our dancers are educated professionals in the field, particularly standing out for their appreciation of the difference in performing for the camera as opposed to performing for a live audience. We aim for our talents to be representative of different age groups, backgrounds, genders and shapes. Our Movers are proficient in a variety of styles and skills, ranging from contemporary to urban to classical ballet, acting to singing, modeling to acrobatics, martial arts and much more. Dancers from The Movers are creative and professional, exciting and diverse, both in faces, bodies and skills. They are hardworking and highly motivated to deliver exceptional performances on set.
Choreographers & Movement Directors
Our Choreographers and Movement Directors are carefully selected to provide a range of different styles and skills to fit any project that you might have in mind. They are all experienced in working for film and collaborating closely with directors and DoP’s. It is important to us that we are part of the team, working as a whole to make the best possible product, always aiming to deliver top-notch choreography and movement.
Nicola Hepp
Founder, Choreographer, Casting Director and ProducerAn award winning choreographer and movement director, Nicola founded and leads The Movers. With an extensive background in dance, she holds a Master in Choreography and New Media with a focus on screendance from the Amsterdam University of the Arts. She has received several scholarships and grants, both for her work and for research into combining dance and film. Nicola has a substantial track record creating choreography for film and as a casting director, working for brands such as T-mobile, Unilever, ING bank, Bols, Google, Ziggo and agencies and production houses like Halal, Holy Fools, Cake Film&Photography, Pink Rabbit, ALFRED, TBWA/Neboko, Czar Amsterdam, HERC, DPPLR, New Ams Film Company and Studio/Studio. Directors she has collaborated with include Anton Corbijn, Michiel van Erp, Diederik van Rooijen, Nina Aaldering, Joost Biesheuvel en Ayla Spaans. She also directs her own dance films, which have won awards and nominations at Leeds International Film Festival, Alternative Film Festival Toronto, Underexposed Film Festival, Dance on Screen Festival and CineManiacs among others.
Konstantin Koval
Choreographer and Movement directorKonstantin Koval is an experienced choreographer working for both screen and stage. His background is in contemporary dance although his choreography incorporates many styles. He is particularly known for his expressive use of body language. Konstantin has collaborated with renowned directors Judith Veenendaal, Watts, Henry Scholfield, Stuart Langfield and Andzej Gavriss on several projects, reflecting his ongoing commitment to exploring new artistic possibilities and creating impactful and engaging performances. His work has been recognized at various international festivals, including winning Gold for Best Choreography at the LIA Awards 2021 and earning two Cannes Lions in 2022. Additionally, Konstantin's choreography received the Best International Music Video award at the UK Music Video Awards 2021 and has been acknowledged at Ciclope, Shots Awards, and Eurobest among others. He has contributed to TV shows such as So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer and worked with brands such as Guinness, Citroën, HP, Hyundai and Toyota.
Tamara Arruti
Associate Choreographer and Movement DirectorDancer, Choreographer and Movement Director Tamara Arruti comes from a background in urban-contemporary dance. She has worked with companies such as Lune and WANP and as a dancer for ‘Madonna’, a collaboration between the German artist Bausa and director Henry Scholfield. In 2013, she came in 3rd place in SYTYCD Belgium-Holland. In 2014, she founded her own company ARTA, which focuses on discovering one’s own voice and path. In her work as a choreographer, producer, and storyteller, she places great emphasis on human connection and deepening awareness. She has worked as an assistant choreographer for Stromae - Fils de joie, as choreographer for MONARCQ - Bad Kidz and as movement director for visuals for DJ Afrojack among others. For the films De Muzikant by Martijn Holtslag and A Beautiful Imperfection by Michiel van Erp she worked as an assistant choreographer together with Nicola Hepp.
Remy Tilburg
Associate ChoreographerDancer and Choreographer Remy Tilburg comes from a background in contemporary dance. He graduated from the Jazz and Musical Dance Department at the Amsterdam University of the Arts in 2011 and has since worked primarily as a dancer at Conny Janssen Danst. He has performed on stage next to Miley Cyrus and has participated in So You Think You Can Dance and X-factor. He is the recipient of several prestigious dance awards such as the NDT Partner Award for a duet he created with Emma Evelein for the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition and the Encouragement Price by Dansersfonds’79. Together with Robin Sybil Kroes, he founded IID, a program to support young and upcoming dancers in their personal development of their identity as performers. Remy has ample experience working in front of the camera for brands such as Nike, Tommy Hilfiger and Sony and worked as a choreographer for video clips and brands such as Vitaepro, Jeangu- Birth of a New Age and Babet- No one else.
Célinne Bodinger
Choreographer and Movement directorDancer and Choreographer Célinne Bodinger has a background in contemporary dance and graduated from the Urban Contemporary Department at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. She has worked as a dancer in several short films and dance films. Célinne won the Best Actress award at the Alternative Film Festival in Toronto for the dance film Breathe by Nicola Hepp. Further, she worked as assistant choreographer for Museumnacht/ Czar Amsterdam, for the feature film A Beautiful Imperfection by Michiel van Erp and several other projects with The Movers. Célinne has worked as Movement Director for Nike, Crisp, Gypsyland and the short film Funny Feeling. She is also a certified personal trainer with special skills in coaching movement.

Lo Walther Boer
Associate ChoreographerDancer, choreographer and movement director Lo Walther Boer holds a Bachelor in Dance from the Urban Contemporary Department of the Amsterdam University of Arts. Since his graduation he has worked as a dancer with choreographers and companies such as The Poetic Disaster Club and Shifft Utrecht and on several film sets. Lo has a wide skillset and is specialized in contemporary dance with attention to partnering and lifting/weight sharing with two or multiple bodies. He has a big passion for kickboxing and Muay Thai and is currently studying to become a strength and condition trainer. He has worked as an assistant to Nicola Hepp, for example on projects such as the Depeche Mode Visuals with Anton Corbijn and as Choreographer/Movement Director on several projects with The Movers such as Sensei&Juno, Venus and a commercial for Mauritshuis.
